And I don't know who I am, but life's for learning.

This is a journal, set away from my other real life concerns, that is dedicated mainly to discovering my gender and sexual identity, as it's confusing and doesn't seem to fit into any neat little box. The other real life concerns, of course, will intersect with my identity, but this journal is only to explore them through the lens of my evolving self-definitions.

You are welcome to subscribe and/or grant access how you please. I do not mind playing this out before an audience. However, I have some ground rules.

This is a safe space. At no point is it ever going to be okay for you to make derogatory comments about any oppressed group. I will give you the benefit of the doubt the first time, and politely inform you that you are being rude. Depending on how many spoons I have at the moment, I may explain why, but I certainly don't have to, so I may not. Second offense, you get summarily banned.

That said, this is also a space for me to work out my own issues and questions. I may at times have some vociferous opinions about people who have injured me in the past. I will try to keep from making sweeping generalizations, but I acknowledge that I may fail.

Basically, this is not a journal for other people. This is a journal for me. I won't get my feelings hurt if you decide you don't have the spoons for reading it, I promise.

But as it is a journal for me, not you, please refrain from trying to "fix" me or define me. This is all about the journey of discovering. (Which sounds so much simpler than this tangle in my head.)
